Taula Petita is a small wine shop in Girona focused on natural wines and independent producers. More than a retail space, it is conceived as a place for discovery, conversation and shared curiosity around wine.
From a branding perspective, the challenge was not to build something loud or overly sophisticated. The identity needed to feel close, approachable and rooted in the neighbourhood.
Many wine brands rely on visual codes associated with luxury or tradition. In this case the intention was slightly different. The brand should feel contemporary but also human. Something that could exist naturally within the everyday life of the city.
The visual identity was developed as a simple and flexible system. Typography, colour and graphic elements were designed to support the atmosphere of the shop rather than dominate it.
Working on smaller local projects often highlights an important aspect of branding. Identity is not only about differentiation but also about belonging. A brand becomes meaningful when it feels connected to the place and the people around it.
Taula Petita is a reminder that even the smallest projects can benefit from a thoughtful design approach. When the identity grows from the culture of a place, it becomes easier for people to recognise themselves in it.
